예술대학 미술학부 졸업전시회

우리학교 미술학부 4학년 학생들의 졸업전시회가 'Funny Farm'이라는 주제로 15일까지 예술관에서 열린다.
이번 전시의 경우, 작품들이 한군데 장소에만 몰려 있는 것이 아니라 예술관 갤러리를 비롯한 총 네곳에서 열리고 있어서 관람객들은 프론트에서 나누어주는 가이드맵을 들고 예술관을 순회하는 '짧은 관람 여행'을 하게 되어 있었다. 한 학생당 ㄷ자 형식의 삼면과 바닥을 활용할 수 있는 공간이 주어졌고 자신들의 작품에 대한 간단한 설명과 작품 사진이 담긴 엽서를 가져갈 수 있도록 되어있었다. 이렇듯 작품 내용도 그렇지만 전시 구성 자체도 깔끔하고 세련되서 단순히 학생 졸전이 아니라 시내 갤러리에 들어온 것 같다는 생각이 들었다. 특히 다음전시관 이동 동선 안내를 위해 바닥에 붙어 있는 개미떼 스티커가 참신하면서도 재미있었다.
회화, 영상, 설치 등 다양한 형식으로 지난 4년간(혹은 그 이상) 고민해온 자신들의 주제를 훌륭히 마무리한 미술학부 학생들을 격려할 겸, 그리고 예비 작가들의 멋진 미술작품들을 감상할겸 오늘 오후, 커피 한잔을 들고 짧은 관람 여행에 동참해보는것은 어떨까.
