"국민사람, 빛나는 정신들"-미술학부 전시회

예술관 국민아트갤러리에서는 “국민사람, 빛나는 정신들"이란 주제로 10월 19일부터 30일까지 전시회가 열렸다. 개교 60주년 기념행사의 일환으로 열린 이번전시회에서는 예술대학 미술학부 졸업생들과 대학원생 및 전공교수들의 작품들이 전시가 되었다.
기존 회화작품이외에도 나무를 이용해 만든 자동차와 먼지를 빨아들이는 청소기, 예수의 고행과정을 담은 영상 등이 전시되어 다채로움을 더했다.
전시에서 말하는 빛나는 정신이란 일제의 압박과 고난속에서도 민족사학을 일궈낸 김구, 신익희선생의 시대정신과도 일맥상통하다고 생각한다. 개교60주년과 이번전시를 통해 학생들이 그들의 시대정신을 본받고, 최초의 민족사학으로서의 자부심을 갖을 수 있기를 바란다.
또한 앞으로도 실험적인 작업들로 성장을 더해가는 미술학부의 발전된 모습을 보여주기를 기대한다.
