고양시와 관학협력사업 추진을 위한 양해각서를 체결

이성우 총장은 6월 4일(목) 오후 3시 경기도 고양시 강현석시장과 고양시청 2층 상황실에서 관학협력사업 추진을 위한 양해각서를 체결했다. 본교는 이번 양해각서 체결을 통해 고양시와 교육, 문화·예술, 관학협력, 국제화 촉진을 위한 다양한 노력을 함께하기로 하였다.
이날 체결된 양해각서는 상호 호혜와 평등의 원칙에 입각하여 교육과 문화·예술 교류 등 협력사업 촉진을 위해 노력한다는 내용을 주요 골자로 담고 있다.
구체적인 내용으로는, △ 교육 분야, △ 문화·예술 분야, △ 관·학 협력 분야, △ 국제화 촉진 분야에 대한 상호 구체적인 이행 사항을 확약하고 양 기관 간 풍부한 인적·물적 자원 및 행정기능을 결합하기로 약속했으며, 특히 실용BIO (발효융합기술, 생명의료 공학기술 등) 분야 및 IT 유비쿼터스 기술 등 활용 분야와 경기도 고양시가 추진하고 있는 방송영상 및 첨단산업 분야에 대하여 정보공유 및 의견교환 등을 통하여 관?학협력 사업을 추진하고 그 결과물에 대해 공동으로 산업화 및 공동 브랜드화를 위해 노력하기로 하였다.
