한양대학교와 학술교류협정 체결

2009년 8월 3일(월) 오전 11시 본교 본부관 3층 대회의실에서 국민대학교와 한양대학교 간 학술교류 협정식을 가졌다. 이 자리에는 본교 이성우 총장, 박종기 부총장, 윤종열 교무처장등 처장단과 한양대학교 김종량 총장, 강성군 부총장, 이형규 교무처장외 6명의 처장단 등 총 25명이 참석했다.
협정식은 국민대학교와 한양대학교 간 학술교류에 관한 협정과 학점교환에 관한 협약으로 나누어 진행되었다. 양교 총장이 서명한 학술교류 협정은 ▲ 교수 및 연구 인력의 교류 ▲ 학생교류 및 상호학점 인정 ▲ 학술공동연구 추진 및 학술회의 공동개최 ▲ 학술자료, 출판물 및 정보의 상호 교환 ▲ 행정, 경영, 관리 등 학문연구 지원에 필요한 사항 협력 등과 기타 필요한 사항 등을 담고 있다.
이날 협정식에서는 본교의 실시간 쌍방향 교육시스템 RTES(Realtime Two-way Education System)를 소개하기 위한 자리를 마련했다. 특히, 이 자리에서는 지난 7월 20일 노스캐롤라이나 주립대학교(North Carolina State University)와 가진 RTES 시연 녹화 동영상을 약 5분간 상영하여 한양대 참석자들의 큰 주목을 받았다.
이번 협정은 본교가 해외 대학과의 교류 뿐만 아니라, 국내 대학과의 활발한 교류협력을 통해 교육 및 연구에 있어서 수월성과 다양성을 제고하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
