국민대 임홍재 총장, 일회용품 제로챌린지 캠페인 동참

국민대학교(총장 임홍재)가 5월 23일(화) 국민대 본부관에서 일상생활 속 일회용품 사용 줄이기 실천을 약속하는 ‘일회용품 제로 챌린지’에 동참했다.
환경부 장관부터 시작된 일회용품 제로 챌린지는 SNS를 통해 일회용품 줄이기 실천 약속을 게시하고 후속 참여자를 지목하는 릴레이 방식 환경보호 캠페인이다.
국민대 임홍재 총장은 이승로 성북구청장의 추천을 받아 캠페인을 진행했다. 임 총장은 “불필요한 일회용품의 사용을 줄이고 다회용품 사용을 늘리는 것과 같은 일상 속 작은 변화가 모이면 큰 변화를 이룰 수 있을 것”이라고 강조했다.
한편, 임 총장은 다음 주자로 서울과학기술대학교 이동훈 총장과 아주대학교 최기주 총장을 지목했다.
