국민대학교 신임 총장에 정승렬 교수 선임

학교법인 국민학원(이사장 김지용)은 7월 11일(화) 이사회를 열어 제13대 총장으로 국민대학교 비즈니스IT전문대학원 비즈니스IT전공 정승렬 교수를 선임했다.
정승렬 교수는 서강대학교 경제학과를 졸업, 미국 위스콘신 대학교에서 경영정보학 석사를 취득하고 미국 사우스캐롤라이나(University of South Carolina) 대학교에서 경영정보학 박사를 취득했다.
1997년 국민대학교 정보관리학과 교수로 부임한 정승렬 교수는 비즈니스IT전문대학원장, 대외교류처장, 국제교류처장, 기획처장, 경력개발지원단장, 기획부총장 등 학내 주요 보직을 두루 거쳤으며 대외활동으로는 한국인터넷정보학회장, 전국대학교 부총장협의회 회장, 한국국제교육관계자협회 회장 등을 역임한 바 있다.
신임 총장의 임기는 오는 2023년 9월 1일부터 2027년 8월 31일까지 4년간이다.
