국민대 체육대학, 창립 50주년 기념행사 및 체육인의 밤 열어

2023년은 국민대학교 체육대학이 창립 50주년을 맞는 뜻깊은 해이다. 이를 기념하기 위해 지난 11월 24일(금) 19:00-22:00, 올림픽파크텔에서 ‘체육대학 50주년 기념행사 및 체육인의 밤’이 개최되었으며, 학부 재학생, 스포츠산업대학원생, 체육대학 동문, 교직원 등 300여명이 참석한 가운데 기념행사는 성황리에 마무리되었다.
특히 기념행사엔 졸업한 많은 동문들이 참석해 재학생들과 함께 뜻깊은 행사를 축하했다. 동문들은 체육대학 교육환경 개선을 위한 발전기금 및 장학금으로 4,000만원이 넘는 금액을 체육대학에 전달했다. 또한 재학생들이 준비한 다채로운 축하공연이 열렸다.
행사장 2층에선 100여명이 넘는 스포츠산업대학원 중국 유학생들을 대상으로 서울대학교 법과대학 강광문 교수 및 중국 무한체육대학교 여만강 총장의 특강이 진행되었다.
나이 50세를 뜻하는 지천명(知天命)은 하늘이 만물에 부여한 최선의 원리를 안다는 것을 의미한다. 올해 지천명을 맞은 체육대학은 한국 체육 인재의 산실로서 지난 50년간 꾸준히 발전해 왔으며, 교육, 산업, 재활, 창업 분야에 많은 인재를 배출해 왔다. 하지만 지천명인 체육대학은 이에 만족하지 않고 또 따른 지천명을 기대하며, 묵묵히 체육 인재 양성에 매진하고 있다.
