경상대학, ‘경상대 문화놀이터’ 진행, 연극 <쉬어 매드니스> 관람

경상대학(학장 김종민)은 지난 12월 15일 <경상대학 문화 놀이터>를 진행, 연극 <쉬어 매드니스>를 관람하였다.
연극 '쉬어 매드니스'는 미국 역사상 최장기 공연 기네스를 보유하며 국내에서도 성황리에 공연되고 있는 인기 연극이다. 관객참여형 연극인 '이머시브(immersive)' 형태로 진행돼 관객들이 목격자이자 배심원이 돼 볼 수 있고, 이에 따라 매회 다른 결말이 펼쳐지는 점이 특징으로 현재 대학로 인기 1위 공연이다.
이번 문화놀이터는 지난해 처음 시행한 연극 <2호선 세입자> 단체 관람 이후 두 번째로 진행된 행사로, 경상대학 학생 및 우리대학 구성원 등 160명이 참여하였다. 이번 행사는 특히 외국인 유학생과 교직원, 학생 등 국민대 구성원의 적극적인 참여로 더욱 풍성한 화합의 시간을 가졌다.
행사에 참여한 학생들은 “시험이 끝나고 친구들과 즐거운 공연으로 한 학기를 마무리할 수 있어 즐거웠다.”, “관객이 직접 참여하는 연극이라 색다른 경험이었다.”라고 관람 소감을 밝혔다.
경상대학은 앞으로도 학생들의 의견을 반영하여 다양한 문화 행사를 진행할 계획이다.
