국민대-한국치산기술협회, 산사태 통합관리 전문인력 양성 및 공동연구 MOU 체결

국민대학교(총장 정승렬)와 한국치산기술협회(회장 최병암)는 2월 16일(금) 국민대학교에서 산사태 전과정 통합관리를 위한 전문인력 양성·상호 간 역량강화 프로그램을 개발하고 산사태 우려지 예측·통합관리를 위한 현장 맞춤형 현안 연구 협력을 위해 MOU를 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약의 주요내용은 1) 현장능력 배양을 위한 특성화 교육과정·연수 프로그램 개발, 2) 현장 맞춤형 전문인력 양성을 위한 인턴십 프로그램 개발·운영, 3) 양 기관 협력을 통해 양성된 산사태 전문인력의 진로·취업 지원, 4) 공동역량 강화를 위한 전문지식·인적자원 교류, 5) 산사태 우려지 예측·통합관리를 위한 현안 연구 등이다.
국민대학교 정승렬 총장은 "기후변화로 발생 빈도가 증가하고 대형화 되어가는 산사태를 과학적으로 예방, 관리 및 복구하는 것은 국민의 안전과 국가의 지속가능성을 담보하는데 매우 중요하다"며 "이번 협력을 통해 국민의 안전을 책임지고, 나아가 우리 학생들의 일자리 창출에도 적극 기여할 수 있도록 하겠다"고 말했다.
