윤호섭 시각디자인학과 교수 교보생명 환경문화상 수상

교보생명교육문화재단(이사장 신평재)은 23일 제9회 교보생명환경문화상 수상자로 설악산 산양 지킴이로 유명한 박그림 설악녹색연합 대표, 생태교육연구소 ‘터’, 진재운 부산경남민영방송(KNN) 기자, 윤호섭 국민대 시각디자인학과 교수를 선정했다고 발표했다.
환경운동부문 대상 수상자로 선정된 박그림씨는 1993년 설악녹색연합을 창립한 뒤 멸종위기종인 산양 보호와 설악산국립공원 보전 활동에 헌신한 공적을 높이 평가받았다.
생태교육연구소 터(대표 신제인)는 두꺼비 집단 산란지인 청주 원흥이 방죽 보전 활동을 통해 지역사회의 친환경적 변화에 기여한 공로로 환경교육부문 대상을, 진재운 기자는 지난 10년 동안 40편이 넘는 환경다큐멘터리를 만들어 부산시민의 환경의식을 일깨운 공로로 환경언론부문 대상 수상자로 뽑혔다. 윤호섭 교수는 환경의 가치를 디자인 영역에 접목해 디자인의 사회적 기능을 확대한 점을 높이 평가받아 환경예술부문 대상을 받는다.
시상식은 25일 세종문화회관에서 열리며, 수상자에게는 각각 3000만원씩의 상금이 수여된다.
