BT-한경 차세대 통신서비스 모델 공모전 장려상 수상 / 전자공학부

한국경제신문과 British Telecom이 주관하여 2008년 11월부터 3개월여 간 진행된 ‘BT-한경 차세대 통신 서비스 모델 공모전'에서 국민대학교 전자공학부 재학생들로 구성된 1%혁명팀이 ‘집을 찾아주는 바코드’ 라는 작품으로 장려상을 수상하였다. 1% 혁명팀은 3월 3일 한국경제신문 3층에서 열린 시상식에서 100만원의 상금을 부상으로 받았다.
유무선 통합 차세대 인터넷 서비스를 주제로 총 53개 팀이 참가하여 진행된 이번 공모전에서는 1차 아이디어 심사를 통하여 11개팀 12개 작품을 선정하였다. 또한 2차 구현 심사에서는 Adobe Flex Program 및 Ribbit SDK를 이용하여 컴퓨터, 인터넷, 휴대폰 환경에서 작품을 구현하여 6팀을 시상하였다.
본교에서는 이번 공모전에서 ‘집을 찾아주는 바코드’ 작품을 비롯하여 ‘Internet telephone with PAN(이태양, 이영철, 이민철, 송영호, 김수현, 김기수, 국민대학교 전자공학부 Embedded Control System Lab)’, ‘차세대 가치 교환 서비스(조덕현, 홍승희, 한혜리, 오남석, 엄민재)’ 등 총 3개의 작품이 12팀이 겨루는 본선에 진출하였다. 이를 통하여 차세대 통신 서비스를 주도하는 국민대학교의 모습을 널리 알릴 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었다.
