[제42회 과학의 날] 기념식 개최
과학기술진흥유공자 80명 정부 포상 선정
자연과학대학 생명나노화학과 성문희교수는 2009년 4월 21일(화) 국립과천과학관 어울림홀에서 개최된 제 42회 과학의 날 기념식에서 과학기술포장을 수여받았다.
첨단 바이오소재 산업화 및 제품화를 추진하여 국가 신성장동력 발전과 바이오기술의 국제경쟁력 강화 등 과학기술 진흥에 기여한 공로로 과학기술포장을 수여받게 되었다.
성문희교수는 2006년 대형국책과제인 서울시 산·학·연 협력사업 바이오신소재산업화 클러스터 (5년간, 총연구비 10,779,000 천원)를 국민대학교에 유치하였으며, 현재 바이오신소재 산업화 지원센터 소장 및 발효융합기술원의 부원장을 겸직중이며, 2010년 국민대학교 내 신설예정인 “미래 고부가 식품의약산업의 주역, 바이오융합 전공분야의 전문인의 양성”을 목표로 한 발효융합학과의 설립을 중심적으로 진행하고 있다.
