'전국 행주 공예·디자인 대전' 최우수상 등 수상/도자공예학과·디자인대학원

(사) 한국미술협회고양지부에서 개최한 '전국 행주 공예·디자인대전'에서 '백자 십육각면 발 세트' 작품으로 정준혁(조형대학 도자공예학과 08) 학생이 최우수상을, 신경욱(디자인대학원 디자인학과 세라믹디자인전공 12) 대학원생이 우수상을 그리고 본교 학부생과 대학원생이 다수 수상하였다.
전국 행주 공예·디자인대전은 국내·외에서 미발표한 순수창작품으로 미술문화 발전에 기여하는 취지로 열리고 있으며, 올해로 10회를 맞는 전통 있는 대회이다.
지난 9월 4일 시상식이 진행되었으며, 9월 10일까지 고양시 일산 호수공원 고양꽃 전시관 내 호수갤러리에서 전시되었다.
※ 백자 십육각면 발 작품설명 백토를 이용하여 물레성형 후 바깥 면에 칼을 이용한 면치기 기법으로 열여섯 개의 각을 쳐낸 백자 발(鉢)
우리나라 고유의 백자가 주는 부드러운 멋과 칼이 만들어 내는 날카로움의 조화를 담은 작품이다.
