창의지성교육 독서토론모형 개발 연구 선정 / 배병인(정치외교학과) 교수

우리대학 정치외교학과 배병인 교수 연구팀이 경기도오산교육청, 화성시 그리고 숲속초등학교가 주관하는 “창의지성교육 독서토론모형 개발 연구‘에 선정되어 약 1억1천8백여만원의 연구비 지원을 받게 된다.
배병인 교수 연구팀은 고대 그리스로부터 이어지는 유럽의 자유교양교육 전통과 중국의 고대 사상으로부터 출발하는 동양의 사상교육 전통이 오늘날의 자유교양교육에 이어지는 근간을 분석하고 이를 역사적으로 재해석하여 창의지성교육에 접목하기 위한 방안을 연구할 계획이다. 나아가 이를 통해 현재 우리나라의 교육현장에서 이루어지고 있는 독서토론교육의 한계와 개선방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.
