지능형 SoC 로봇워 2014 HURO-Competition 부문 은상 수상 / 전자공학부

지난 8월 3일 대전시 유성구 도룡동에 위치한 대전컨벤션센터(DCC)에서 대전광역시가 주최하고 KAIST SDIA가 주관하는 ‘지능형 SoC 로봇워 2014 HURO-Competition 부문’에서 우리 학교 전자공학부 학생들이 은상을 수상하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.
“지능형 SoC 로봇워 2014 HURO-Competition 부문”은 원격조정 없이 로봇이 카메라를 통해 장애물을 스스로 판단하여 통과하는 대회이며 올해로 13회를 맞는다. 이번 대회는 예선을 거친 전국 각 대학의 총 16개 팀이 참석한 가운데 본교 재학생은 총 1팀이 참가했으며, 은상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.
참가한 학생들은 영상처리, 리눅스, 로봇 제어법 ,ARM BOARD이용법을 세미나 형식으로 학습하며 대회 출전을 준비해 왔다. 이보규(08), 이보희(10), 김기훈(10), 최원범(10), 박호경(12), 박소현(12) 학생은 대회에서 다른 팀보다 정밀한 제어와 정확한 영상처리 기법을 통해 40점을 획득하며 은상을 수상했다.
