한국음향학회 학술상 수상 / 신성환 (자동차공학과) 교수

국민대학교 자동차융합대학 자동차공학과 신성환 교수(자동차융복합센터 부센터장)가 2014년 한국음향학회(회장 한찬훈) 정기총회 및 추계학술대회에서 학술상을 수상하였다.
한국음향학회는 1981년에 창립되어 현재 3,000여명의 학계 및 산업체 전문가들이 참여하고 있으며, 매년 창의적인 연구저작과 발표를 통해 학술분야에 기여한 공로자 1명을 선정하여 학술상을 수여해 오고 있다.
신성환 교수는 “응용음향 및 진동제어(A3VC) 연구실” 지도교수로 KAIST 음향연구실(Aclab) 및 일본 Seikei Univ. 심리음향연구실(Psycho-Acoustics Lab)과 협력하여 자동차, 가전제품, 핸드폰 등을 포함한 기계 및 전자제품에서 발생하는 소음 및 진동제어 연구를 하고 있으며, 현재 한국연구재단, LG전자, 볼보코리아, ㈜대동 등의 연구비 지원을 받아 활발한 산학공동연구를 수행하고 있다.
