한국가시화정보학회 춘계 및 추계학술대회 우수논문상 연속 수상 / 대학원 기계공학과

지난 12월 2일 경북대학교에서 열린 한국가시화정보학회 2016년도 추계학술대회에서 국민대학교 바이오의료기기연구실(지도교수: 김중경)의 비빈프라사드 학생(대학원 기계공학과 박사과정 13)이 ‘Evaluation of cancer cell death in tumor-induced mouse model with non-invasive radiofrequency hyperthermia’라는 제목의 논문을 발표하여 우수논문상을 수상하였다.
본 연구에 사용된 고주파 온열암치료 시뮬레이션 기술은 SCI급 국제학술지인 Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology 12월호에도 게재되었다. 한국가시화정보학회는 2003년 결성된 이래 의공학, 생명공학 등의 자연과학 및 인문사회과학까지 아우르는 광범위한 분야에서 정보의 가시화 기술 발전에 크게 이바지하여 국내외적으로 높은 평판을 받고 있는 학회이다.
이에 앞서 지난 4월 29일 명지대학교에서 개최된 춘계학술대회에서는 같은 연구실의 모히우띤칸 학생(대학원 기계공학과 박사과정 15)이 ‘Wide field-of-view fluorescence imaging system with curved microfluidic chamber for absolute cell counting’이라는 제목의 논문을 발표하여 우수논문상을 수상하였고, 관련 논문은 SCI급 국제학술지인 Micromachines 7월호에 feature paper로 게재되었다. 두 학생은 모두 국민대학교에서 시행하는 해외우수연구인력유치지원사업을 통해 박사과정에 입학하여 안정적으로 학업과 연구에 몰두할 수 있었으며 그 결과로 좋은 연구성과를 얻을 수 있었다.
