한국생물과학협회 정기학술대회 차세대우수연구자상 수상 / 상지운(바이오발효융합학과 박사과정 19) 동문

국민대학교(총장 정승렬) 바이오발효융합학과 박사후 연구원인 상지운 박사는 지난 7월 16일부터 18일까지 사흘간 한양대에서 개최된 제80회 한국생물과학협회 정기학술대회에서 한국유전학회가 선발한 차세대우수연구자상을 수상하였다. 한국유전학회는 매년 2명의 박사후 연구원을 선발하여 차세대우수연구자상을 수여하며, 유전학 분야에서 장래가 총망되는 과학자에게 보다 많은 학문 기여를 독려하기 위해 상패와 상금을 수여한다.
한편, 제80회 한국생명과학협회 정기학술대회에서는 한국생태학회 및 한국생물교육학회, 한국동물분류학회, 한국유전학회, 한국환경생물학회, 한국식물분류학회, 한국진화학회, 총 7개의 학회가 모여 ‘AI 혁명시대의 바이오-환경 연구와 교육’이란 슬로건으로 162개의 구두발표와 833개의 포스터 발표가 진행되었다.
상지운 박사후연구원은 “Salt Sensation and Regulation in Drosophila”라는 제목으로 한국유전학회 Young Scientist Investigator 세션에 참석하여 발표하였으며 ‘차세대우수연구자상’을 수상하였다. 또한 상지운 연구원은 올해 6월 24일부터 26일까지 개최된 제54회 한국분자세포생물학회 초파리분과 하계 심포지움에서 우수구두발표상을 수상하였다.
상지운 박사후연구원은 바이오발효융합학과 이영석 교수의 지도하에 석사 및 박사과정을 마쳤으며, 현재는 교육부 국내박사후연수지원사업의 지원을 받아 연구를 매진하고 있다.
