Oxford University와 국제우주정거장(ISS) 우주인 공동연구 협약 / 데이비드 윌리엄 김(교양대학) 교수

우리 대학 교양대학 데이비드 윌리엄 김(David William Kim)교수가 영국 옥스포드 대학교의 Space Innovation Laboratory 디렉터인 Ghada Alsaleh 교수팀과 향후 국제우주정거장 (International Space Station: ISS)에서 우주인의 노화방지 (Anti-ageing of astronauts)와 우주식량 (P.T.N.M.) 연구를 위한 우주생물학 (Astrobiology)분야에 오는 2029년까지 공동연구 하기로 협약했다.
이는 우주의 무중력, 방사능, 사회적 고립과 격리 환경에서 위기관리 정책과 Well-Being을 통해 Deep Space Mission (Mars)의 Security과 Resilience을 연구하는 데이비드 김의 한국우주인연구소 (KIFA)와 Space medicine, cellular growth, physical movements를 전문하는 옥스포드 대학교의 Botnar Institute for Musculoskeletal Sciences와의 학술적 협력관계로 진행됐다. 이번 연구는 연구결과는 얼마 전 중국과 러시아 정상 시진핑 주석과 블라디미르 블라디미로비치 푸틴이 나눈 향후 지구에 있는 다민족 인류 (백인, 흑인, 동양인)의 생명연장(장수)에 중요한 단서를 찾는데도 일조할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

Smith (Project Manager, Australia), Henderika de Vries (Affiliated Researcher, Luxembourg), Anderson Wilder (NASA Analog Astronaut Candidate, USA), (Barrett S. Caldwell (International Collaborator, USA), and Emily Seolah Min (Research assistant, Kookmin University).
