우리 대학 금속공예학과 최원영, 한정민 학생이 제39회 마쩨 국제졸업작품전에서 Marzee Graduate Prize을 수상했다.
갤러리 마쩨(Galerie Marzee)는 1979년 개관한 국제적으로 그 지명도가 높은 명실상부 세계 최대의 현대장신구 전문 갤러리이다.
매년 8월부터 10월까지 열리는 마쩨 국제졸업전시회는 갤러리의 중요 일정으로서 새로운 세대의 작품들을 널리 알리고 대중들과의 소통을 목표로 하고 있다. 1986년 네덜란드 주요 대학으로 구성된 소규모의 전시로 시작되어 1995년 이후 국제적인 규모로 확대하여 현재 전 세계 유명 미술대학, 젊은 작가의 선정된 작품들을 매년 전시하고 있으며, 우수작품들을 선정하여 Marzee Graduate Prize를 수여하고 있다.
국민대학교 금속공예학과는 2007년부터 매년 졸업생 약 5명 내외가 초대되어 출품해왔다. 2025년에는 최원영, 한정민을 포함한 학부, 대학원 졸업생 9명이 초대되는 등 금속공예학과의 국제적인 위상과 경쟁력을 인정받고 있다.
