독일 은공예 공모전 '실버트리엔날레' 다수 수상 / 금속공예학과 교수진 및 학생들

우리 대학 금속공예학과가 세계 은공예 분야에서 가장 권위 있는 국제 공모전인 제21회 실버트리엔날레(Silver Triennial International)에서 다수의 수상자를 배출하는 성과를 거두었다.
실버트리엔날레는 1965년 시작된 이래 독일 하나우(Hanau)에서 3년마다 개최되는 국제 은공예 공모전으로, 현대 은공예 분야에서 가장 역사 깊고 권위 있는 대회로 알려져 있다. 은을 주재료로 한 기물과 오브제를 대상으로, 뛰어난 기술력과 예술성을 갖춘 작품을 선정하여 시상 및 전시한다.
올해로 21회를 맞은 이번 공모전에는 전세계 21개국에서 137명의 은공예가와 메탈 디자이너가 총 195점을 출품하였으며, 이 가운데 59점의 작품이 최종 전시작으로 선정되었다.

정재희/Conceal and Reveal/3등상(Youth Promotion)
이번 공모전에서 전용일(금속공예학과 명예교수)이 2등상(Robbe&Berking Prize)을 수상하였으며, 박지은(대학원 '17)이 3등상(Ebbe Weiss-Weingart Prize)을, 정재희(대학원 '17)가 젊은작가 부문(Youth Promotion) 3등상을 각각 수상하였다. 또한 이승열(금속공예학과 교수)과 백현(학부 '08, 대학원 '12), 홍지안(대학원 '18)이 입선의 영예를 안았다.
