국민인이 된지 아직 한달도 채 안된 06학번 풋풋한 새내기들의 끼와 열정은 어느정도일까?
지난 23일 목요일 1시, 우리학교 민주광장에서 이를 확인할 수 있는 즐거운 무대가 열렸다.
1시를 전후해서 삼삼오오 모이기 시작한 관중들은 문화제가 시작한 1시 30분이 되자 민주광장을 꽉 채울만큼 늘어났다. 특히 관중들은 우리학교의 모토인 그린캠퍼스를 상징하는 초록색 막대봉을 들고 있어서 그 자체만으로도 대단한 장관이었다.
'입학한지 얼마 되지도 않았는데 잘 할 수 있을까?' 라는 우려는 말그대로 기우일뿐이었다. 각 단과대를 대표해서 나온 새내기들인만큼 노래, 춤, 마술, 꽁트 등 어느 것 하나 부족한것 없이 출중한 기량들이었다. 앉아서 이들을 지켜보는 재학생들 역시 초록색 막대봉을 흔들며 마음껏 웃고 응원하고 감동하는 모습들이었다.
인생에서 가장 빛나는 시기라는 대학시절, 그리고 그 중에서도 가장 아름다운 이름 새내기!
상큼발랄한 이들의 모습에 반할 수 밖에 없었던 새내기와 재학생, 국민인 모두가 하나되는 기쁨을 가질 수 있었던 즐거운 자리였다.
