Self-Designed Convergence Major자기설계융합전공이란?
학생 스스로 교육과정을 설계하는 수요자중심 교육과정으로써, 서로 다른 계열 2개 이상의 학과(전공) 교육과정을 융합하여 새롭게 설계하는 전공을말합니다.

What is Self-Designed Convergence Major?
This is a student-centered curriculum in which students design their own courses. It refers to a major that is newly designed by combining two or more different departments (majors) from different disciplines.

STEP 1
Announcement of
ApplicationApplication PeriodEvery semester (See academic announcements for details.)
EligibilityStudents in their 2nd-6th semester, including those on leave(Individual or group applications are permitted.)

Consultation & Drafting
of ApplicationConsultation & Drafting of ApplicationObtain approval from your first-major advisor. Hold a pre-consultation and secure approval from the advisor of the participating department.
Draft your application form.

STEP 3
Submission of
Application & Approval
DocumentsSubmit your application form and any approval letters to:Future Convergence College, Academic Affairs Team (Bukak Hall, Room 218)
The Academic Affairs Team will review and, if necessary, request revisions.

STEP 4
Review & Establishment
of New MajorReview & Establishment of New MajorParticipating departments assess curriculum compatibility.
The Academic Affairs Division conducts a formal approval review for establishing the new major.
Upon positive review, the President grants final approval.
Applicants are notified of the decision, and the new major is officially established.
