그 동안 브람스 아벤트, 스페인 음악의 밤, 베토벤 작품만으로 오케스트라와의 협연과 독주회를 동시에 펼쳤던 그랜드 콘서트 등 다양한
프로그램으로 국내에서 10여 회의 독주회를 열었던 피아니스트 김민숙이 오는 5월 10일 예술의전당 리사이틀홀에서 독주회를
갖는다.
서울시립교향악단, 부산시립교향악단, 뉴서울필하모닉, 서울심포니와 협연하기도 했던 김민숙은 국외에서는 모스크바 그네신
콘서트홀에서 모스크바 쳄버 오케스트라와 협연했으며 독일의 Bremen, Krefeld, Koln 등지에서 독주회를 개최하였다. 또한 현대음악에도
깊은 관심을 가져 현대음악 연주자로서도 인정받은 그는 수많은 현대음악과 국내 작곡가 작품들의 초연과 녹음을 했으며, KBS-FM '한국의
음악가' 시리즈에서도 녹음, CD를 출반하기도 했다.
서울대 음대, 이화여대 음대, 중앙대 음대 등에 출강하면서 후진을 양성해 오던
김민숙은 현재 국민대 겸임교수로 재직하면서 한양대 음대에 출강하고 있다.
이번 연주회에서는 바흐, 브람스, 발라키레프 등 다양한
작곡가의 작품과 함께 피아노로 들려주는 가야금 산조를 연주할 예정이다.
