'특별한 일상을 만나다.' 만화&일러스트동아리 펜탈롱 전시회

시각디자인학과 만화&일러스트 동아리 펜탈롱에서 두 번째 일러스트 전시회를 가진다. ‘특별한 일상(Extraordinary Life)’이라는 주제로 부원들이 평소에 그렸던 일러스트들과 개개인이 일상 속에서 느꼈던 생각들을 그림으로 담았다. 일상이 주제인 만큼 일상 속에서 그리던 손때 묻은 드로잉들과 일상에 대한 다양한 시선들을 엿볼 수 있는 아기자기한 작품들이 전시되었다.
동아리 회장을 맡고 있는 강구룡(시각디자인 ‘01)군은 "작품수가 많지 않고 미흡한 점도 있지만 바쁜 학과생활 속에서도 부원들과 함께 열심히 준비했으며, 교내에서 열리는 전시회인 만큼 국민대 학우들이 조형관을 지나칠 때 편안한 마음으로 들러주길 바란다."고 하였다. 또한 만화&일러스트 동아리인 만큼 이번 일러스트 전시이외에도 후에 만화회지 발간을 계획하고 있다.
2000년에 창립한 ‘펜탈롱(Pentalong)’의 동아리명 어원은 Pen+Mental+Long이 합쳐져서 만들어진 것으로 ‘펜의 정신은 오래 간다.’라는 뜻이라고 한다. 그 말뜻처럼 펜으로 그리는 그들의 세상이 다양하게 오래도록 펼쳐지기를 바란다.
