2005학년도 후기 학위 수여식이 지난 18일(금) 학내 곳곳에서 열렸다. 개인별 학사일정상 여름에 학위를 마친 학사 467명, 석사 251명, 박사 21명은 각 대학 및 대학원 단위로 열린 학위수여식에서 동문 및 친지들과 함께 새 출발을 축하했다.
이중 일반대학원과 교육대학원은 오전 11시 본부관 학술회의장에서 대학원장 및 주임교수가 참석한 가운데 학위수여식이 열렸다.
이 자리에서 조희웅 대학원장은 졸업생들에게 “학위를 위해 공부하던 그 열정 그대로, 사회에 나가서도 우리나라가 앞서나가기 위해 노력해
달라”고 당부했다.
학위를 수여받은 임영학(사회학석사)군은 “섭섭하기도 하지만 또한 새로운 시작이라고 생각되니 마음이 설레기만 한다”고
밝혔다.
비록, 사람이 북적이지 않아 조금은 조촐한 학위수여식이었지만 이처럼 졸업생들의 새로운 세상에 대한 기대는 뜨겁기만 했다.
