성곡도서관 기증잡지 창간호 전시회

전시되어 있는 잡지 창간호 60점은 지난 2004년 고서 연구가인 고(故) 노영길 선생께서 국민대학교 성곡도서관에 기증한 것이다. 이 외에도 신문, 고서 및 일반도서까지 합하여 총 5,039 권의 도서를 기증하여 후학들의 학문연구에 많은 기여를 하였다.
잡지는 시대를 보여주는 창이다. 세상의 조각들이 잡지에 담기고 잡지를 보면서 세상을 돌아본다. 잡지의 발자취는 결국 우리 시대의 흐름을 보여주는 조각일 것이다. 이번 기증잡지 창간호 전시회가 도서관에 들러 지친 공부에 매진하는 학우들에게 잠시나마 시대의 발자취를 더듬어 볼 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 보인다.
