나노전자물리학과 동문 및 교수 장학기금으로 4천만원 기부

나노전자물리학과(주임교수:장지훈 부교수)는 동문과 교수가 십시일반으로 모은 발전기금 4천만원을 나노전자물리학과 장학기금으로 기부하였다.
지난 2011년 물리학과 설립 30주년을 맞이하여 열린 “30주년 기념 물리인 날” 행사에서 나노전자물리학과의 장기적 발전을 위하여 동문과 교수가 후배 물리학도를 위한 장학기금 모금 전달식을 통해 발전기금을 모금하고 이를 기부한 것이다.
나노전자물리학과 동문과 교수님들의 협력으로 조성된 장학기금은 앞으로 학과 내에 학업의 의지와 능력이 있음에도 주변 환경, 가정 형편 등으로 인하여 어려움을 겪고 있는 나노전자물리학과 재학생들에게 장학금으로 지급되어 학생들의 학업을 돕는데 쓰일 예정이다.
또한, 나노전자물리학과는 현재 조성된 장학기금뿐만 아니라 매년 기금 모금 활동을 통해 장기적이고 지속적인 장학기금 운영을 계획하고 있다.
