세계3대인명사전 Marquis Who's Who in the World 이상헌교수님 등재

기계자동차공학부 이상헌 교수가 세계 3대 인명사전 중 하나인 '마르퀴즈 후즈 후 과학.공학 분야 (Marquis Who's who in Science and Engineering) 10주년 기념판(2008-2009)'에 이름을 올리게 됐다.
이 교수는 CAD/CAM(컴퓨터를 이용한 설계 및 생산) 분야에서 3차원 형상 모델링 시스템의 개발 및 응용에 활발한 연구활동을 수행해 왔으며 그동안 국내외 학술지와 컨퍼런스에 100여편의 논문을 발표하였고 가헌학술상, 과학기술우수논문상을 수상하는 등 이 분야의 학문발전에 기여한 점이 인정되었다. 또한 학생들의 교육에도 열정을 가지고 있어 Capstone-Design Fair, CAD/CAM학회 소프트웨어 공모전에 학생을 지도하여 금상을 수상하는 등 교육 활동도 활발히 하고 있다.
100년이 넘는 역사와 정보의 정확성, 까다로운 인물선정 기준 등으로 유명한 마르퀴스 후즈 후 사전은 미국 인명정보기관(AIB), 영국 케임브리지 국제인명센터(IBC)와 함께 세계 3대 인명사전으로 꼽힌다. 그 중 Marquis Who's Who in Science and Engineering은는 2년마다 과학 분야에서 우수한 업적을 남긴 2만 명을 선정하여 등재한다.
