EXTREME, 의상디자인학과 35회 졸업패션쇼

지난 5일 조형대 앞 특설무대에서 제 35회 의상디자인학과 졸업 패션쇼가 열렸다. 기존 졸업패션쇼와는는 달리 조형대 건물과 현관 전체를 하얀 천으로 덮어 신비한 이미지를 연출하고 '런웨이'를 조형대 입구 앞쪽으로 배치하여 역대 졸업패션쇼중 가장 화려한 패션쇼가 되었다. 이번 패션쇼는 EXTREME를 주제로 하여 48명의 학생들의 졸업작품을 무대위에 공개하는 자리였다.
무대 옆에 마련된 VIP석과 일반 관람위치가 가득 찼음은 물론이고 관람하기 좋은 자리를 차지하기 위해 주변 건물을 점령한 관객들도 보였다. 이날 조형대 앞에는 패션쇼를 관람하기 위해 몰려온 500여명의 인파로 인해 주변 통행이 불가능할 정도였다. 패션쇼는 총 9개의 스테이즈로 구성되었고 중간에 연로하신 할머님이 모델로 등장하여 좌중의 눈길을 끌기도 했다.
이번 졸업패션쇼에 참가한 김효정(의상디자인4)씨는 "다시 하라면 절대 사절이지만 이곳에서 함께했던 시간들이 많이 그리울 거다." 라고 소감을 남겼다. 이번 패션쇼에 참가한 학생들에게는 학교생활을 마지막을 장식하는 졸업작품 발표회였지만 동시에 사회로 나가는 첫 관문이자 새로운 시작을 알리는 뜻깊은 무대가 되었다.
