조형대 갤러리관에서 금속공예학과 대학생과제전 열려.

8월 25일부터 29일까지 닷새동안 조형대 갤러리관에서 '국민대 금속공예학과 대학생과제전'이 열렸다. 이동규, 김연희 외 19명이 참여한 이번 과제전은 '마주보기'라는 주제를 가지고 학생들의 다양한 작품을 선보였다.
잔과 접시(이동규), 팬던트(김희주)와 같은 일상 생활에서도 자주 볼 수 있는 물건들이 적동, 애나멜칼라, 은도금과 같은 재료들을 이용하여 새롭게 작품으로 태어나, 관객들의 눈을 즐겁게 해주었다. 뿐만 아니라 대비(남혜주), UNIT in UNIT in(김지민), 행복-Goethe ring(권슬기)과 같이 제목부터 낯설지만 학생들의 창의력이 돋보이는 작품들은 관객들의 호기심을 자아냈다.
지나가다가 우연히 포스터를 보고 전시회에 오게 되었다는 08학번 김성민 학생은 "금속공예하면 왠지 전문적이고, 유식해야만 할 것 같은 편견이 있었다. 물론 여기 전시회에 있는 모든 작품들을 이해한 것은 아니지만, 일상 생활과 연관되어 있는 작품들도 있어서 의외로 재미있게 전시회를 구경하였다."며 전시회를 관람한 소감을 전했다.
