자동차공학전문대학원, 오하이오주립대학 자동차연구센터와 교류협약 체결

자동차공학전문대학원과 미국 오하이오주립대학 자동차연구센터는 11월 10일 연구활동 교류, 교수 및 학생교환 등 양 기관 간에 학술협조와 교류협력 증대를 주요 내용으로 하는 협약을 체결하였다.
자동차공학전문대학원 원장실에서의 협약체결에 앞서 Giorgio Rizzoni 자동차연구센터장은 허승진 원장과 함께 자공원의 주요 실험실을 둘러보았으며, 오후에는 이성우 총장을 예방하여 대학차원에서의 교류협력 방안도 논의하였다.
전기자동차 분야의 세계적 권위자로 알려진 Rizzoni 교수는 국내 완성차 및 부품업체 연구ㆍ개발자와 대학원생들을 위해 따로 세미나를 갖고 “21세기 전기자동차 시대를 맞이하여 전기자동차의 개발도 중요하지만 그것을 지원하는 인프라 구조가 병행 발전되어야 성공적인 전기자동차 시대를 맞이할 수 있다”고 말하였다.
