금융결제원이 주체하고 지난 2010년 4월에서 8월까지 5개월간 진행된 '지급결제관련 대학(원)생 논문 현상공모'에서 국민대학교 정보보안연구소 석사과정 안정우 학생이 우수상(지도교수 : 이옥연, 한동국)을 수상하였다.
본 공모전은 국내 유일의 종합 지급결제서비스 기관인 금융결제원이 지급결제 제도, 서비스의 개선 및 발전을 위한 법적, 제도적, 기술적인 측면의 연구 주제에 대하여 국내 4년제 대학 및 대학원생을 대상으로 실시되었다.
금융정보보호 관련 부문의 OTP(One Time Password), 모바일 인증과 관련하여 제출된 본 논문은 기존 전자금융거래의 보안 취약점을 제시하고 이를 해소하기 위한 방안으로 거래정보를 이용한 모바일 일회용 패스워드 양방향 인증기법을 제안하였다. 거래연동 모바일 일회용 패스워드를 이용한 양방향 인증이란 인터넷뱅킹을 포함한 전자금융거래에서 스마트폰 등의 이동통신기기로 금융기관과 고객이 서로를 확인하는 방법으로 거래정보(수신계좌번호, 거래액 등)를 이용하여 매거래마다 새로운 비밀번호를 사용함으로서 금융보안사고를 사전에 방지할 수 있는 인증기법이다.
