2011 한국멀티미디어학회 추계학술발표대회에서 본교 전자공학부 센스그룹(지도교수 : 정구민 / 팀원 : 박창우(06), 석미송(07), 김윤희(08))이 '독해 능력 향상을 위한 안드로이드 기반의 속독 어플리케이션 개발'이라는 주제로 멀티미디어 모바일 부문 우수논문상을 수상하였다.
센스그룹은 실제로 영어 공부를 하면서 느꼈던 부족한 속독력과 집중력을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법에 대해 고민하던 중, 스마트폰의 어플리케이션을 활용하여 사용자에게 조금 더 편리한 학습환경을 지원할 수 있는 방안을 연구하게 되었다.
석미송 학생은 "실제로 프로그램을 개발하는 과정을 통해 그 과정을 논문에 상세히 표현했고, 기존의 프로그램과 비교하여 장점과 효율성을 부각시켰던 점을 높게 평가하여 좋은 상을 수상한 것 같다"며 수상 소감을 밝혔다.
