국민대-TIDE INSTITUTE MOU 체결

국민대학교(총장 유지수)와 타이드 인스티튜트(대표 고산)이 지난 6월 2일(월) 오후 3시 국민대 본부관에서 상호협력을 위한 MOU를 체결했다.
이날 MOU 체결에 따라 양 기관은 산학협력 선도모델 창출·확산을 위한 우수인재 양성과 기술지원 분야, 현장실습 및 인턴십 분야 등에서 긴밀하게 협력하게 된다.
타이드 인스티튜트(TIDE Institute)는 한국인 최초의 우주인 후보였던 고산씨가 설립한 창업문화 확산과 선도형 기술기반 창업을 지원하는 비영리단체로 TIDE Academy, TIDE Workshop, TIDE Insight, Startup Springboard 등을 운영해 왔다. 최근 타이드 인스티튜트는 침체에 빠진 중소기업의 새로운 희망을 3D프린터에서 찾을 수 있다고 보고 ‘팹랩(Fab Lab)’을 만들어 운영 중이다. 팹랩이란 제작(Fabrication)과 실험실(Laboratory)의 합성어로, 레이저 커터, 3D 프린터 등 각종 디지털 장비를 사용해 아이디어를 구현할 수 있도록 만든 공공제작소다.
