체육공단, 국민대-상명대-을지대와 손잡고 스포츠산업 전문인력 양성

국민체육진흥공단은 스포츠산업의 지속적인 성장과 발전을 위하여 스포츠 융·복합 분야 고급인력 양성 지원을 위해 국민대학교, 상명대학교, 을지대학교와 MOU를 체결했다.
이번 MOU는 스포츠산업융합 특성화 대학원 설치 운영에 관한 것으로, 지난해 12월 문화체육관광부에서 발표한 스포츠산업중장기 계획의 일환이며, 올 연말까지 국민대학교는 스포츠공학융합학과 대학원, 상명대학교는 스포츠정보기술융합학과 대학원, 을지대학교는 스포츠관광융합학과 대학원을 개설하여 15명 내외의 신입생을 선발하고 2015년부터 2018년까지 체육진흥투표권 공익사업적립금을 지원하여 교육을 시행할 계획이다.
앞으로 학생들은 스포츠산업융합에 특화되어 개발된 교육과정과 스포츠산업계 수요에 맞춘 산·학 협력 프로젝트를 수행하고, 국내외 인턴십을 통해 현장 실무경험과 지식을 함양하여 창조경제를 선도할 융합형 창의인재로 사회에 진출하게 될 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
