Creative Health Care 창의인재 과학캠프 성황리에 개최

지난 1월 3일(토) 국민대학교 과학관에서 Creative Health Care 융합인재양성사업단(단장 장문정교수)의 주최로 Creative Health Care 창의인재 과학캠프가 바이오발효융합학과, 식품영양학과 교수와 학부생들의 적극적인 참여로 성황리에 개최되었다.
CHC 과학캠프는 예비 실버산업 맞춤형 창의인재 양성을 위하여 헬스케어융합기술의 기초가 되는 과학실험을 직접 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 기획되었으며 헬스케어 관련 기술에 대한 흥미제고 및 적성개발, 더 나아가 인생설계 및 진로선택에 도움을 주고자 하였다.
이번 CHC 과학캠프는 고등학교 수준에서 경험하기 힘든 수준 높은 과학실험으로 구성하였다. 수도권 및 경기도 지역 17개 학교 39명의 학생(경기자동차과학고등학교 2학년 권우현 외 16개 고교 38명 학생)들이 참가하였으며, “발효식품 미생물을 이용한 호상 요구르트 제조기술 및 연구(성문희 교수)”, “알긴산을 이용한 encapsulation/Anthocyanin 색소의 변화(임지영교수)”, “세포 속 은밀한 영양학(고광웅교수)”의 3가지 주제로 과학캠프가 진행되었다.
6시간이라는 비교적 긴 시간이었음에도 불구하고 참가 학생들은 적극적으로 과학캠프에 참여하였다. 과학캠프 후 설문조사에서 “더 많은 실험을 하고 싶다. 시간이 짧아 아쉬웠다.”, “과학캠프 재미있고 즐거운 시간이었다.”, “창의인재 과학캠프 더 많은 학교에 공지가 되었으면 한다.” 등의 다양한 의견이 제시되었다.
