공학교육혁신센터 산업통상자원부 「공학교육혁신 지원사업」 선정

국민대학교 공학교육혁신센터가 공학교육의 글로벌 경쟁력을 제고하고, 산업계 수요에 맞는 창의적 공학인재를 양성하기 위해 산업통상자원부에서 시행한 ‘공학교육혁신 지원사업’에 지난 4월 21일 선정되었다.
우리 대학은 사업 참여의지 및 지원 의지, 공학교육 관련 기존 시스템 셋업 및 운영 등에서 높은 평가를 받아 사업에 선정되었다.
이번 사업 선정으로 2022년 2월까지 최대 7년간 14억원(연간 2억원)의 정부출연금을 지원받게 되며, 본 사업을 통해 창의적 공학교육혁신 모델인 신기술 수요연계 주기특화 프로그램, 테크비즈 강화형 자율특화 프로그램, 교육혁신 프로그램 등을 수행함으로써 공학계열의 창의ㆍ융합형 인재를 양성할 계획이다.
사업책임자인 김대정 교수(전자공학부ㆍ공학교육혁신센터 소장)는 “본 사업의 선정으로 실무형 성과중심의 융합설계 프로젝트 과정이 구축되고, 공학인증 프로그램의 안정적인 운영이 가능할 것으로 예상 된다.”고 밝혔다.
