국민대-㈜엠디엠 기업부설연구소 MOU 체결

국민대학교(산학협력단장 박찬량)와 ㈜엠디엠(대표이사 김구용)이 국민대 산학협력관에서 기업부설연구소 설치 및 운영을 위한 MOU를 체결했다.
이번 협약식에 ㈜엠디엠 김구용 대표이사, 김균수 책임연구원, 윤연정 전임연구원 등을 비롯해 국민대 박찬량 산학협력단장, 한상규 전자공학부 교수, 박영진 산학협력팀장 등이 참석했다. 이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 올해부터 국민대 내에 기업부설연구소를 설치해 운영하게 된다.
양사는 산학공동연구를 통해 채용연계형 산학장학생 프로그램도 도입한다. 산학장학생으로 선발된 학생들은 일체의 학비 및 생활비를 지원받고 졸업 후 전원 취업이 보장된다. 박찬량 국민대 산학협력단장은 "기업부설연구소 유치를 통해 기업의 애로기술 해결을 돕고, 산학연계를 통해 현장에서 필요로 하는 실무형 인재를 양성함으로써 가족회사들이 강소기업(Hidden Champion)으로 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.
부설연구소장을 맡은 한상규 국민대 전자공학부 교수는 "기업부설연구소 설립이 연구개발(R&D)의 질적 성장을 유도해 가족회사의 경쟁력을 강화하고 기업에서 필요로 하는 인재를 확보하는데 크게 기여할 것으로 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
한편 ㈜엠디엠(http://www.mdm-studio.com)은 전력전자분야의 PCB(Printed Circuit Board) 설계기술, EMI(Electromagnetic Interference), 열 해석기술을 선도하는 벤처기업이다. 3D 모델링 및 설계부터 제품 생산에 이르기까지 모든 공정을 서비스하고 있다.
