국민대 자동차융합대학, 러시아 카잔연방대학 자동차 이론 및 실습 연수

국민대학교(총장 유지수) 자동차융합대학이 세계적인 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 대학 간 국제교류를 활성화하고 있다. 이러한 취지의 하나로 지난 6월 26일(수)부터 7월10일(수)까지 2주간간 자동차공학과·자동차IT융합학과 2개 전공의 학생들 10명이 러시아 카잔 연방대학교 자동차 이론 및 실습 연수를 다녀왔다. 인솔교원으로는 이동은 국제교류처장, 나창순 관리처장, 자동차공학과 최웅철 교수가 참여했다.
이들은 러시아 카잔 연방 대학 및 첼늬 대학 기술연구소, KAMAS 트럭공장, 모스크바 현대자동차 서비스센터 등을 견학하면서 전공 소양과 문화교양을 넓혔다.
이번 연수는 러시아 카잔연방대학의 적극적인 후원으로 진행됐다. 국민대와 카잔연방대학의 인연은 각별하다. 양교는 2011년 8월 최초로 협정을 체결한 이후 활발한 교류를 진행하고 있으며, 협력의 범위를 점차 화학, 바이오, 자동차, 로봇공학 등의 이공학 분야로 확장하여 긴밀하고 발전적인 협력을 구축하고 있다.
이번 연수에 참여했던 국민대 자동차공학과 박성준 학생은 “카잔연방대학의 수업은 실험과 실습 위주로 구성되어 과학의 이론을 기반으로 직접 실습을 진행하여 흥미를 유발해 기초과목에 접근하기 쉬웠다.”라고 밝혔다.
