국민대, 산업부 2024년도 산업혁신인재성장지원사업 선정

국민대학교(총장 정승렬)가 산업통상자원부가 시행하는 ’산업혁신인재성장지원사업‘ 지원 대상으로 선정됐다.
산업혁신인재성장지원사업은 첨단산업 육성 및 주력산업 고도화를 위한 석·박사 산업혁신인재 육성 및 활용 선순환 시스템 구축을 위한 사업이다. 국민대는 한국전자정보통신산업진흥회, 경북대, 성균관대, 한국공학대, 한양대와 함께 미래형자동차 SW를 선도할 산업계 수요 중심의 혁신인재를 양성할 예정이다. 사업 기간은 2029년까지 이며, 총 100억원 예산 중 국민대는 23억을 지원 받게 된다.
이를 위해 국민대는 현장 맞춤형 전문인력 양성을 위한 교육과정을 비롯하여 다양한 산학연 협업을 수행할 계획이다. 특히 ▲미래형자동차 융합 SW 특화분야 교육과정 설계 및 운영 ▲산학프로젝트를 활용한 인력양성 연계 운영 ▲교육협력센터 운영을 통한 대학 간 협력체계 구축 ▲기업에서 필요로 하는 실무 기술 역량 확보를 위한 단기 집중 교육과정 운영 등을 통해 고등 교육의 새로운 표준을 제시할 수 있는 사례를 선도적으로 만들겠다는 목표다.
국민대 책임 연구자인 전자공학부 이수찬 교수는 “미래형자동차SW 분야의 전문성을 갖춘 인력을 양성할 수 있도록 특화된 교육 프로그램을 운영하겠다” 이라고 소감을 밝혔다.
