제17회 국민대 건축대학 트리엔날레 개최

국민대학교 건축대학이 오는 6월 25일(오후 3시 개회)부터 30일까지 대학로아트센터에서 제17회 건축대학 트리엔날레를 개최한다. 이번 전시는 ‘Praxis–Process: Architecture in the Age of the Posthuman’을 주제로, 포스트휴먼 시대의 건축을 인간과 비인간의 공존을 탐색하는 실천적 과정으로 조명한다.
건축 트리엔날레는 국민대학교 건축대학의 전체 학생과 교수진이 참여하는 3년 주기 학술·전시 행사로, 조형대학 시절의 조형전에서 출발해 2001년 건축대학 설립 이후 현재까지 그 전통을 이어오고 있다. 매 회차마다 동시대 건축의 핵심 주제를 선정해 전시, 특강, 세미나, 출판 등의 학술·문화 프로그램을 연계해 왔으며, 한국 건축 담론을 선도하는 중요한 장으로 자리매김해왔다.
제17회 트리엔날레는 건축이 지향해온 ‘잘 행하는 것’—아리스토텔레스의 프락시스(praxis), 즉 실천을 통한 윤리적 삶의 구현—으로서의 과정이 포스트휴먼 시대에 어떻게 확장될 수 있을지를 탐색한다. 인간 중심의 시각을 넘어, 도시, 자연, 기술, 생명체 등 다양한 존재들과의 공존 방식을 건축적으로 상상하고 실험하는 시도다. 참여 학생들은 관계와 경계를 새롭게 해석하며, 미래를 위한 공간과 사회적 역할을 제안한다. 이번 전시는 동시대가 던지는 질문에 답하는 건축적 실천의 장이 될 것이다.
