'일본 ITAMI International Craft Exhibition 2019' 입상 / 금속공예학과 일반대학원 및 학부생 6명

일본에서 개최된 2019 ITAMI International Jewellery Exhibition(2019 이타미 국제 주얼리 공모전)에서 금속공예학과 남한슬(학부 ’15), 이혜진(학부 ’15), 조민열(학부 ’13), 조혜진(학부 ’16), 최서희(학부 ’15), 최혜영(대학원 ’17) 등 6명이 입상하였다.
1989년에 다양한 예술과 공예 활동을 통해 지역사회를 풍요롭게 할 목적으로 개관한 The Museum of Arts&Crafts ITAMI 은 다양한 전시와 강좌, 공모전 등을 통해 국제적으로 예술가들을 양성하고 있다.
특히, 올해로 11회째를 맞이한 이번 공모전은 사람의 마음이나 신체와 깊이 연관되어 여러 문화와 풍토 속에서도 사람들에게 꾸준히 사랑받으며 즐거움을 주어왔던 [Jewellery]를 주제로 하여 창조적인 공예를 발견하고자 하였다.
입상 작품은 11월 16일부터 12월 22일까지 일본 효고현의 「The Museum of Arts & Crafts ITAMI」에서 전시된다.
