소상공인진흥원장 권충식씨 내정 / 동문, 법 70학번

이달 하순께 출범 예정인 소상공인진흥원 초대 원장에 권충식 전 국무조정실 복지·여성 심의관(사진)이 사실상 내정됐다.
3일 중소기업청과 소상공업계에 따르면 소상공인진흥원장 추천위원회가 지난달 28일 최종 심사회의에서 권 전 심의관과 전 토지공사 감사 A씨를 선정, 복수 추천한 데 이어 같은 날 열린 진흥원 발기준비위원회의에서 권 전 심의관을 단수 후보로 최종 선정했다.
중기청 소상공인지원과는 “이달 하순에 열리는 소상공인진흥원 발기인대회에서 원장 최종 승인과 함께 법인 등록신청에 대한 중기청장의 허가가 나면 권후보는 곧바로 원장으로 정식 취임하게 된다”고 밝혔다.
올해 55세인 권내정자는 경북 봉화 출신. 국민대, 서울대 행정대학원을 나와 행시 18회로 관가에 입문, 경제기획원과 재경부 등에서 국제금융, 소비자정책, 경제정책 입안에 참여해 왔다. 지난 95년부터 국무조정실로 옮겨 심사평가 1·2 심의관, 교육문화 심의관 등을 역임했다. 유학에도 소양이 깊은 것으로 알려졌다.
