제15회 실버트리엔날레(Silver Triennial)에서 한국의 젊은 작가 주미화 최고상 수상 / (대학원 금속공예학과)

주미화(국민대 대학원 금속공예학과)씨는 독일에서 개최된 제15회 실버트리엔날레에서 최고상인 1등상의 영예를
안았다.
실버트리엔날레는 1965년 이래로 독일의 전통적인 귀금속 도시 중 하나인 하나우(Hanau)에서 3년 마다 열리고 있으며,
은을 주재료로 제작한 기물을 주제로 이루어지는 오랜 전통을 가진 국제공모전이다. 이번 실버트리엔날레에서는 처음으로 A:
Hollow-ware/Objects 와 B: Flatware(Cutlery), 두 부문으로 나누어 접수하였으며, 각 부문별로 1등 5000유로
2등 3000유로 3등 1000유로, 총 18000유로의 상금도 주어졌다.
19개국 147명의 작품 약 200여점 이상이 출품되었던
이번 공모전에서 주미화씨는 A부문인 기물/오브제에서 1등상을 받았다.
제15회 실버트리엔날레는 지난 2월 9일 독일 프랑크푸르트
박람회인 Ambiente에서 시상식과 함께 전시가 개막되었으며, 프랑크푸르트 전시를 시작으로 2008년까지 독일 순회전과 벨기에 등지에서 전시를
갖는다.
