"주민 감동 치안서비스 최선"
김재병 목포경찰서장
"언제 어디서나 경찰이 할 수 있는 일이고 해야 할 일이라면 친절하게 봉사해야 합니다."
최근 취임한 김재병(52) 제59대 목포경찰서장은 "작은 실천이 주민 감동으로 이어질 수 있다"고 취임 소감을 밝혔다.
김 서장은 "각자 업무 현장에서 주민감동 치안서비스와 인권보호 경찰활동을 적극 펼칠 수 있도록 전 직원이 지혜와 역량을 모아 노력하자"고 당부했다.
함평 출신으로 국민대 법학과를 졸업한 김 서장은 1983년 순경으로 입문, 광주 서부 보안과장, 경찰청 및 전남청 공보담당, 전남지방경찰청 방범기획계장, 울산청 수사과장, 강진·영광서장, 전남 경무과장, 청문감사관 등을 역임했다.
가족으로는 부인 박연순(48)씨와 사이에 2남을 두고 있다.
