한국세라믹학회지 우수논문 선정 / 윤현정(신소재공학부 10) 학생

신소재공학부 10학번 윤현정 학생이 제1저자로 진행하여 작성, 투고한 논문이 매월 정기 발간되는 한국세라믹학회지의 (Journal of the Korean Ceramic Society) 2012년 9월호에 출판되었으며 이 논문이 총 18개의 투고 논문 중 단 2편에만 주어지는 우수 논문으로까지 선정되는 영예를 안았다. 학부 3학년 학생이 제1저자로 논문을 써서 출판하는 것 뿐만 아니라 다른 학교들의 석·박사과정 또는 박사급연구원들과 경쟁하여 우수 논문을 수상하는 영예를 얻은 것은 매우 이례적인 일이며 국민대 학생들의 뛰어난 자질을 보여주는 사례라고 할 수 있다.
윤현정 학생은 지난 1년간 신소재 공학부 학부 연구원으로서 (지도교수: 최희만) 태양전지, 광촉매 등의 에너지 소재로 사용 가능한 티타늄옥사이드를 동결건조법으로 제조하여 3차원 다공성 구조체로 제작, 평가하는 연구를 진행해 왔으며 그 결과를 지난여름 한국세라믹학회지에 투고하게 되었다.
선정된 우수 논문의 제목은 “A Morphological Study on the Titanium-Oxide Foams Processed Using Freeze-Casting”이며 공동 저자로서 최희만 지도교수님과 박사과정 최혜림 (교신저자) 학생이 같이 우수논문의 영예를 나누었다.
시상식은 지난 10월 18일 대전 컨벤션센터에서 열린 2012년 추계 한국세라믹학회의 특별 심포지엄인 여성세라미스트 워크숍 심포지엄에서 열렸다. 이날 교신저자인 최혜림 박사과정은 우수 논문에 대한 초청 강연을 가졌다.
