대한민국산업디자인전람 대통령상 수상 / 디자인대학원 서석교(제품디자인 13학번)

48회 대한민국산업디자인전람에서 국민대학교 디자인대학원 서석교(제품디자인전공 13학번) 학생이 대통령상을 수상했다.
산업통상자원부는 27일 서비스, 디지털미디어콘텐츠, 제품, 시각, 포장, 공예주얼리, 환경실내, 텍스타일패션 등 8개 부문에 출품된 1000여점의 작품 중 제품 부문에서 서석교 학생의 ‘마벨(MA-BBELL)’이 최고영예인 대통령상과 1,500만 원의 상금을 수상했다고 발표했다. 시상은 10월 중순 전라남도 광주 김대중컨벤션센터에서 열릴 예정이다.
‘마벨(MA-BBELL)’은 자이로스코프(Gyroscope) 원리를 이용한 자동무게 조절 덤벨로 블루투스 기능을 가지고 있어 운동을 하면서 자신이 좋아하는 음악을 들을 수 있고, 핸드폰 거치가 가능한 도킹 오디오(Docking Audio) 시스템으로 사용할 수 있는 제품디자인이다.
대통령상 이외에도 강진욱(제품디자인전공 12학번) 학생은 “녹조제거기”로 특선을 이해민((제품디자인전공 13학번) 학생은 “Green Pin” 작품으로 특선을 수상하였다.
국민대학교 디자인대학원은 국내·국외 디자인 대회에서 수많은 수상자들을 배출해 왔으며, 세계 3대 디자인 공모전인 ‘Red-dot’, ‘IF’, ‘IDEA’에서도 꾸준히 다수의 수상자들을 배출해내고 있다.
