성문희 교수(국민대 산학협력 선도대학 육성사업 헬스케어 산학협력 센터장)는 2014년 6월 26일 부산 BEXCO에서 개최된 사단법인 한국미생물·생명공학회(회장 장효일) 정기총회에서 수라학술상을 수상받았다.
수라학술상은 한국미생물·생명공학회에서 생리활성 물질 분야에서 탁월한 연구 및 기술개발 업적으로 생명공학 발전에 크게 기여한 자를 선정하여 포상함을 목적으로 2003년부터 수상자를 선정하여 수상하고 있다.
성문희 교수는 김치 발효 유산균 및 청국장 발효미생물이 생산하는 바이오 식의약소재의 면역활성 증강 및 건강학적 기능에 대한 다수의 학술논문의 발표를 통한 생명공학 분야의 학술발전 및 산업체로 기술이전을 수행하여 바이오산업에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 수라학술상을 수상하게 되었다
사단법인 한국미생물·생명공학회는 1973년 설립되어 미생물학, 생명공학 및 생물공학 등 생명과학 분야에 관한 연구 및 바이오 산업화 기술개발 핵심 중추 학회로 잘 알려져 있다.
