2015 미니드론 자율비행 경진대회 동상, 장려상 / 전자공학부

국민대학교 전자정보통신대학 전자공학부 박성환(10), 이태희(10), 이주현(14), 김정혁(14), 김윤래(14), 권녕학(15), 배한빈(15), 김형기(15), 김수연(15), 서채현(15) 이상 10명은 지난 7월 16일에 열린 대한전기학회가 주최한 ‘2015 미니드론 자율비행 경진대회’에 나가서 각각 VICA(지도교수: 민경식 교수님)팀과 랜드셋(지도교수: 문찬우 교수님) 팀으로 참가하여 동상과 장려상을 수상하였다.
드론은 무선 전파로 조종할 수 있는 무인 항공기를 말한다. 카메라, 센서, 통신시스템 등을 탑재해 고공 촬영과 배달 등 다방면에 활용되고 있다. 이번 대회는 미래 유망 아이템의 하나로 주목 받고 있는 드론을 제어하는 소프트웨어 개발 능력을 겨루는 자리였고, 33개 팀이 신청해 22개 팀만 본선에 올랐다. 각 팀은 대회에서 드론의 자세를 컴퓨터에 표시하는 것과 반복 이착륙 기본 동작, 응용 동작(이륙-호버링-회전-전진-착륙), 임무 수행(이륙 후 인식된 목표로 자율비행 후 착륙)등의 미션을 수행하였다.
